Stop, taste, see

Today as I walked along a coastal path my friend described what it was like to teach the word of God and for it to satisfy and be a healing salve on so much grief in her life. The losses made her think she couldn’t still teach or have the capacity to share the Word but as she began to show up in courage and broken strength she discovered just how what we eat and where we eat is crucial to our experience of truly being satisfied.

Stopping is about choosing to eat inside the presence of something that is Holy and not man made. It is “man does not live by bread alone” and everything in between. It is eating and drinking inside a presence, space and time that is truly set apart for a very “inside” experience. Don’t settle for anything outside of this place. Taste and see that The Lord is GOOD. Shabbat shalom friends. Stop and know wholeness.
